If you want to achieve your goals, keep this in mind: unstoppable women feel the fear just like everyone else - they just don’t let it keep them from doing what they need to do! I find this idea refreshing because it takes away the idea that fear is a sign of weakness or that you need to be fearless.
Having fear is natural, it’s how you respond to fear that makes the difference. Jack Canfield, author of The Success Principles, says, “fear is something to be acknowledged, experienced and taken along for the ride.” He also says that all fear is self-created by imaging some negative outcome in the future. I believe that we invest so much energy into our fears that we talk ourselves out of going after our goals.

- revisit your commitment. Are you more committed to your fear or your goal? Your action or inaction will give you the answer.
- do something, especially if everything isn’t perfect. Wanting things to be perfect is often what drives procrastination. Take a risk.
- If you’re more committed to your goal, make a public declaration. For example, when I was writing my eBook, 52 Ways to Practice Self-Care and Create More Joy in Your Life, I was procrastinating on finishing it, so I made a public declaration to finish my book by a specific date. That way, I was facing my fear and fulfilling my dream at the same time.
- share your fears with someone you can trust so you can get support and connect on a deeper level.
